Sunshine Dance, nestled in Glendale Heights, IL, is your go-to dance school since 2011, serving Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream, and neighboring areas. We offer a wide range of individual and group dance classes for ages 3-18, including tumbling, hip hop, ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary dance. Sunshine is a truly special place. Never in a million years did I think my daughters would find such a source of positivity, encouragement, and healthy character development in a dance studio. Jared, the owner, cares deeply about each student and family and makes a concerted effort to partner with the parents in support of the dancer. Jacob, the studio manager, is extremely kind, competent, and responsive to parents. And the teachers all embody the culture of support and love of dance (shout out to Miss Steph, who somehow comes to the studio with never-ending positive energy, and is an amazing dancer, choreographer, and role model for my 10 year old especially! But all the teachers are great!). This studio is also very family friendly, and the costumes never make my daughters uncomfortable by showing too much - something that is very rare in the dance competition world…it’s one of the reasons we moved from another studio, but the reasons we stayed went far beyond. The Bright Lights Theater program has also been a wonderful complement to Sunshine as my daughters love theater as well. If you can swing the commitment, it’s well worth it 😊

My daughter is just starting her third year at Sunshine, and she loves it! She started with a Kindergarten ballet/tap combo class, did Jazz and hip hop last year, and is trying out two more styles this year. The programs are run in a professional manner, but still maintain the fun! The end of year recital is beautiful and is done with a high production value- I cannot imagine any child not loving being part of Sunshine, and any parent not being happy with the technique and skills taught in the programs.
